Start on foot in Rüdesheim. For history buffs, we recommend the rack railway trail (A), which starts at the car park in front of the railway tracks. Six information stations provide details about the history and technology of the former rack railway.

After visiting the Niederwald Monument, take the cable car back to Rüdesheim. This allows you to enjoy the view once again at the end of the tour.
