Visit the Niederwald monument and enjoy the beautiful view or take a break at the nearby restaurant facilities. From here you can walk through the forest and the vineyards (A) or via the railway path (B) back to R\u00fcdesheim.<\/p><\/div>\r\n\t

You can also start the tour the other way round and first hike up and then take the cable car down. For those interested in history, we recommend the railway path (B), which starts at the car park at the railway tracks. Six stations provide information on the railway\u2019s history and technology, which is based on the “Riggi rack-and-pinion railway” in Switzerland.<\/p>
